Pinetree Country ClubPinetree Country Club serves as the home course for the Kennesaw State men's and women's golf team. The club provide the Owls with a par 72 7,108 yard course, a practice putting green, and a practice chipping area for the KSU golfers to fine tune their skills during the season .
In 2012, the Kennesaw State men's golf has hosted the Pinetree Intercollegiate here. The tournament takes place toward the end of the fall collegiate golf season and the field is filled with some of the best teams in the country.
Pinetree was designed by Chick Adams in 1962. The club has been home to the Georgia Amateur Golf Championship in 1976, 1985, 2003 and most recently the 2013 Championship. The club has hosted many other top amateur golf tournaments including the Georgia Open in 2014.
