Biography

2011 Season
Was one of eight Atlantic Sun conference pitchers to throw a shutout last season … Was 10th in the conference in opponents batting average with a .265 mark … Pitched five and two-third innings and struck out six batters at ETSU (4/23) ... His shortest outing of the season against FGCU (4/15) when he threw two innings and allowed six runs on seven hits in the Owls 20-8 loss ... Has struck out three or more batters in each of his eight starts ... Allowed two earned runs in six innings in a loss at Stetson (4/8) ... Had his shortest outing of the season when he threw four innings and allowed three earned runs (five runs) with five strikeouts in a, 9-6, loss to Southern Illinois (4/1)...  Picked up the win as he threw seven solid innings at Mercer (3/25) ... Allowed two runs in the first inning and did not allow another run until the sixth inning as he gave up just seven hits and three earned runs to the potent Mercer offense ... Pitched his best game of the season as he threw eight innings and allowed two runs on five hits at Belmont (3/11) ... He matched his career best with seven strikeouts and retired the side in order four times after giving up solo runs in the first and second innings ... Had the best start of the season when he allowed two runs on four hits with seven strikeouts as he earned the win against Campbell (3/4) ... The seven strikeouts was the second most in his collegiate career ... Started and took the loss against Memphis (2/25) ... Allowed seven hits and walked four with a hit batsman while throwing 95 pitches in just 4.2 innings, but did strikeout four batters, matching his season high ... Allowed one hit over five innings in his Opening Day start vs. Ball State (2/18) when he struck out four and walked one in a no-decision.

2010 Season
Appeared in 14 games and made 12 starts ... Four times pitched six or more innings including a season-long 7.1 innings in a win over North Florida (4/17) in which he matched his season-high with eight strikeouts ... Also struck out eight batters in a win over Southern Utah (3/12) ... Picked up his third win of the season at USC Upstate (5/15) ... Owls averaged 2.0 runs per game in his two losses ... Started and got a no-decision in the Owls 4-2 win over Tennessee (3/6) in which he allowed a run on seven hits in 6.2 innings.

Prior to Kennesaw State
Played  prep ball at Shiloh HS … Named to the All-Region team his senior year … Received the MVP Award, Team Pitcher Award, and All-County Honorable Mention also in his senior year.
