  • Had his best season with the Owls in his second year, making a career-best 56 starts, which was the most on the team.
  • Batted .333 (74-for-222), posting career highs in at-bats (222), runs scored (43), hits (74), doubles (16), home runs (8) and RBI (41).
  • Ranked fourth on the team with a .518 slugging percentage.
  • Posted a .358 batting average in ASUN play, ranking third on the team in 20 conference games.
  • Ranked second on the team with seven doubles in ASUN play, and tied for first with three home runs in 20 starts.

  • Batted .344 (72-209) overall and led the Owls with 72 hits.

  • Defensively, totaled 484 putouts and 32 assists, making only four errors for a .992 fielding percentage.
  • In ASUN action, batted an incredible .395 (32-for-81) with a team-high six doubles.
  • Led the team with 24 multi-hit games.
  • Also led the team with 10 multiple RBI games.
  • Totaled the third-longest hitting streak of the season (11 games).
  • Will enter 2017 on a five-game hitting streak.
  • Started the season off strong, totaling four RBI and three home runs, going 7-for-12 at the plate to be named Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week.
  • Went 6-for-13 at the plate with four RBI versus NJIT (April 8-10).
  • Went a career-high 4-for-4 with two RBI at USC Upstate (April 15).
  • It was the start of an 8-for-11 at the plate, driving in three RBI to help the Owls sweep the Spartans.

  • Upshaw comes from Georgia Perimeter, where he was named to the Gwinnett County second team.
  • He was tabbed first team All-Region.
  • Put up 73 hits, eight doubles, one triple and two home runs in 2015.
  • Batted .417 in 49 games, totaling a .509 slugging percentage and a .462 OBP.
  • Tabbed a Gwinnett Daily Post Player of the Week and Gwinnett County Honorable Mention.
