Started in two games for the Owls and appeared in seven total games…was 0-1 with a 10.80 ERA in 11.2 innings pitched and notched ten strikeouts…pitched four innings on April 15 against Jacksonville State which was his longest outing of the season…pitched one inning against Alabama State on March 3 and allowed no hits and struck out two batters…pitched two innings against conference opponents allowed only two hits and struck out three.

2008
Started in two games and made ten relief appearances...Pitched his longest outing of the season against Georgia on March 25 in which he pitched 3.2 innings of relief giving up no runs on four hits and struck out a season high four batters...Picked up his first win of the year against Presbyterian on April 8 after leaving after 2.2 innings of work due to an established pitch count, gave up no runs on seven hits and struck out one batter...Did not allow a earned run in his last three appearances of the season...Combined with team mates for two shutouts (3/4 at Alabama State, 4/8 vs. Presbyterian)...Had a 7.31 ERA in 16.0 innings pitched while striking out 16.

2007
Appeared in 13 games for the Owls, starting two of them...His three total wins were good for fifth on the team...Made his collegiate debut at Samford (2/23) pitching 0.1 innings and striking out the only batter he faced...Recorded his first collegiate win in Athens versus in state foe Georgia (3/7), coming on in relief and striking out three batters while allowing only two runs on two hits in two innings of work...He threw his longest outing of the season at Jacksonville State (3/13), going five innings and giving up two runs, only one of which was earned...Struck out a season-high five batters in 4.1 innings of work at Troy (4/17), allowing two earned runs on five hits...Pitched two scoreless innings and struck out two in the Owls[apos] win over Troy (4/4)...Struck out 19 and walked only 10 batters on the season...Finished the season with a 3-1 record and a 3.58 ERA in 27.2 innings.

Kyle comes to Kennesaw State after a successful prep career at Cleveland High School where he was a three-year Varsity letterman...Led his team to a 1-0 victory in the district tournment by throwing a complete game shutout against Rhea County HS and finishing with ten strikeouts...Graduated with honors...Cleveland HS Christian Athlete of the Year...two-time Chattanooga Time Free Press [quote]Best of the Preps[quote]...Two-time All-District...Finished his senior season 9-1 with a .80 ERA and 85 strikeouts in 70 innings pitched.
