2015: Honored as a Second Team All-Conference Atlantic Sun selection as a junior…Played in 55 of the possible 56 games at shortstop for the Owls…Ranked first on the team with 10 home runs, which also proved to be a career high…Ranked first with 212 at-bats and second with 57 hits on the roster...Finished the season with a .269 batting average…One of six Owls to record a triple..Rranked second on the team with 35 RBI…Stole 15 bases on 19 attempts, the most on the team…Walked 31 times, ranking second on the team…Totaled 102 putouts and 157 assists for a fielding percentage of .932…Recorded 16 multi-hit games, totaling the most on the team…Ttotaled two games with four RBI and five other games with at least two RBI…Opened the season with at least one hit in the first six games…Recorded his first home run in the season opener at Stillwell Stadium against St. John’s (Feb. 13)…Went 3-for-4 with two RBI and three runs on the road against Jacksonville St. (Feb. 20)…Compiled back-to-back three-hit performances at the plate against William & Mary (March 21-22), totaling five RBI and one home run…Hit a grand slam against USC Upstate at Stillwell Stadium (March 29)…Finished the season with at least one hit in six of the last 10 games.

2014: Backed up his Freshman All-American campaign with a stellar sophomore season, starting and playing in 62 games for KSU... Hit .272 while earning a spot on the All-Atlantic Sun Second Team as well as becoming a member of the A-Sun's Preseason All-Conference Team... Had 73 hits in 268 at-bats, knocking six doubles, a triple and a homer... Drove in 26 runs while scoring 46 himself and stealing three bases... Had 190 assists from the shortstop position... Had a pair of 4-hit games during a 4-RBI win against Middle Tennessee State (2/16) and a loss against Lipscomb (3/22) in which he belted a homer... Had 21 outings with more than one hit and eight with three or more... Set a new school record with nine at bats during an extra-inning affair at Jacksonville State (3/2)...

2013: Was named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American Team... Simmons had one of the top freshman performances in the A-Sun, earning All-Conference First Team and unanimous All-Conference Freshman Team awards... Hit .290 while playing and starting in 52 games at shortstop for the Owls with a .929 fielding percentage... Simmons drove in 27 runs with 10 doubles during the season and had 14 multi-hit games... Also scored 20 runs while stealing four bases... Went 4-for-4 against in-state rival Mercer (3/17) with two RBI... Was a .361 hitter in conference games only this season... Had two hits and scored a run during the A-Sun championship game against East Tennessee State (5/26)...
