2014-15: Member of the first KSU men’s tennis team to make it to the A-Sun Conference Tournament…Went 3-0 during the tournament season…collected wins over Georgia Southern, Chattanooga and Lewis University.


2013-14: Went 4-4 overall during his junior year including a 4-2 mark in dual tournament action and was undefeated in Atlantic Sun Conference competition at 1-0... Ended the season by winning three out of his last four singles contests... Was an impressive 10-0 while competing in doubles action for Kennesaw State... Helped bring KSU three wins in doubles matches during A-Sun play...

2012-13: Ranked first on the team with an 8-11 overall singles record, including a 4-6 mark at No. 5 singles... Posted a 3-5 record in conference action... Also tied for the lead in doubles victories with an 8-11 mark, with a 5-6 record on court three... Owned a 5-3 doubles mark in league play... Posted seven of his eight doubles wins with Gokalp Ozedmir, while also teaming with Maksim Yorsh for a win... Went 4-3 with Ozdemir in A-Sun action...

2011-12: Tied for second on the team in singles wins with an 11-10 record, including a 7-6 mark at No. 6 singles... Owned a 3-6 singles mark in A-Sun play... Notched the second-highest win total in doubles play, going 7-4 on the season, including a 3-1 record in conference action... Had a record of 6-3 at No. 3 doubles... Doubles partners included Matt Johnson (2-0), Simon Janik (1-2), Gianni Kubin (1-1) and Alex Toliver (3-1).

High School: According to the Tennis Recruiting Network Alexander was ranked 202nd in the nation, and tenth in the state of Georgia... Had a 3-5 record playing against five star and blue chip players in his high school career... Went 16-1 in his senior season, which included a victory over a top-50 player in the nation...

Personal: Born on March 12, 1993... Son of Gonzalo and Renee Pena...  Has an older sister named Paloma... Biology major in the College of Science and Mathematics.
