2012-13: Was named to the 2012-13 A-Sun Conference Women’s Basketball Preseason Team, the only sophomore to do so … Ranked in the top 15 in the A-Sun Conference in scoring, rebounding, assists, free throw percentage, offensive and defensive rebounds, as well as ranking fourth in minutes played and ninth in steals … Started 24 of the 27 games she saw action in … Led the Owls with 46 steals … Ranked second on the team with 10.7 points per game and 57 assists, as well as ranking third in field goals made (104) and rebounds (6.1/game) … Totaled eight games where she scored 15 points or more, including a career high of 23 point against Troy (11/21) … Poured in 20 points, five points and two steals against North Florida (1/12) … Registered her first career double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds, while also adding in four assists in 37 minutes of action at Texas State (12/18) … Tallied a career-high six assists, to go along with 19 points and nine rebounds versus East Tennessee State (1/19) … Made the game-winning free throw with three seconds left in the game at Jacksonville State (11/28) … Was good for 15 points at No. 20 Georgia Tech (11/13), playing all 40 minutes.
2011-12:Â Scored nine points with six rebounds and six steals in her collegiate debut against Wofford (11/11)...Had 10 points and nine rebounds against Gardner-Webb (11/15)...Went 7-of-11 from the field for 17 points, four rebounds and three steals in a win over Jacksonville State (11/19)...Was named A-Sun Newcomer of the Week (11/22), becoming the first Lady Owl to win the award...Scored 12 points with seven rebounds at No. 25 Georgia Tech (11/22)...Had 11 points and six rebounds in a win at Lipscomb (12/3)...Tallied 11 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and dished out five assists at Georgia State (12/14)...Grabbed nine rebounds at Troy (12/21)...Scored a team-high 13 points against Stetson (1/2).
HIGH SCHOOL: Scored 18 points on a 7-of-8 night from the field against Gardner Webb (12/28)... At Texas State (12/18), pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds during her first double-double of the year... Made a game winning free throw with three seconds left in the game at Jacksonville State (11/28)... Scored a career high 23 points against Troy (11/21)... Was named to the 2012-13 Atlantic Sun Conference Preseason Team, the only sophomore to do so... PERSONAL:Â Kristina is the daughter of Micheal and Cheryl Wells...She has two older brothers (Terrence - 26; Michael - 28) and three sisters (Krystal - 19; Tia - 19; Aalyahh - 10)...Kristina hopes to major in psychology at Kennesaw State with the career goal of becoming a counselor that works with criminals.
