As a Sophomore (2011)
Made an immediate impact upon transferring to Kennesaw State for the 2011 season, starting in 53 out of 55 games, all in center field…Batted .324, the second highest average on the Owls, and finished fifth in the Atlantic Sun Conference in hits (59) and tied for eighth in runs scored (34), earning All A-Sun Second Team honors…Had an 11-game hitting streak that stretched from Mar. 25 to Apr. 3, part of a 23-game streak in which she reached base via either a hit, walk, hit by pitch, or error…Recorded five multi-RBI games in 2011, with the Black and Gold going 5-0 during those games…Went 4-for-4 with two RBI in the Owls, 8-0, victory over East Tennessee State on Apr. 15…Recorded a season-high three RBI at Campbell on Apr. 9, helping the Black and Gold to a season-high 17 runs in their, 17-1, win…Committed just one error in 53 starts in center field…Was named an A-Sun All-Academic honoree.
Prior to Kennesaw State
Spent her freshman season as a Georgia Bulldog, where she played in 40 games, scoring 20 runs and successfully stealing bases on all five of her attempts...Scored two runs as a pinch runner in the NCAA Super Regional against California...Also appeared in the College World Series.
Prep Career
Earned four varsity letters at Chapel Hill High School in Douglasville, Ga. ...Excelled both at the plate and in the pitcher's circle, batting.457 and going 13-1 during her senior year to help CHHS to the Georgia Region 4B Class 5A championship game...Selected among top-10 in the state of Georgia for the 2008 Wendy's Heisman Award...Earned all-state recognition her junior year...Two-time All-Region and All-County selection...Also named Douglas County Player of the Year...An accomplished track and field athlete, was the state champion in the Pole Vault in 2008.

Born in Atlanta...Daughter of Rocky and Lisa Sikes...Has two siblings, Morgan and Savana...Is a big fan of the Atlanta Braves...Favorite softball player is legend Jennie Finch...Also enjoys track and field, which she also competed in during high school as a pole vaulter...Favorite food is macaroni and cheese...Loves the competitiveness of softball and working together with her team to achieve a common goal...Is majoring in business, and plans to go into accounting after graduation.
