As a Sophomore (2012)
Posted a solid sophomore campaign, starting in all 55 games she played in … Tallied a .290 batting average, ranking fourth on the team … Ranked third on the team in runs (27), hits (51), triples (eight), total bases (85) and homeruns (eight) … in a tied for third on the team in runs with 27 and home runs with eight ... Registered a three-hit game in five outings, including games versus UT Martin, Fordham, Miami (Ohio), North Florida and Troy … Recorded 22 RBIs, including a season high three on April 28th versus Mercer … Tallied five of her eight homeruns in conference action.
As a Freshman (2011)
Immediately became a regular part of the Owls lineup, starting in 50 out of 55 games during her freshman campaign…Had several game-changing moments at the plate in 2011…Hit an RBI double with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning in the first game of the Owls Apr. 2 doubleheader against Stetson that would start a three-run rally and give the Owls a, 4-3, win…Hit a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the fifth inning in the second game of the Owls doubleheader against USC Upstate on Apr. 15, momentarily pulling the Owls ahead in the contest…The next day, Durant was involved in late-game heroics once again, hitting a single with one out that would drive in the tying run against East Tennessee State, paving the way for a walk-off, 7-6 win to cap off a doubleheader sweep. The clutch hit was part of a 2-for-4, 3 RBI day…Hit her first career home run on Feb. 27 against Tennessee State, a three-run blast that was part of a 3-for-4 performance, helping the Owls to a, 12-2, victory…One of just five Owls to have five or more multiple-RBI games in 2011...Had three hitting streaks of four games or longer.

Lettered for four years at Chapel Hill High School in Douglasville, Ga. ... First Team All-State honoree...Named to the Georgia Dugout Club All-Star Team... Helped her team to third place in the state during her senior year...Spent four summers playing club softball, playing one year with Impact and three on the Elite level.

Born in Atlanta... Is the daughter of Donna and Jonathan Durant... Has six siblings- Taylor, Jasmine, Michael, Anthony, Monique and Jonathan Jr. ...Favorite softball player is Brittany Lastrapes...Off the softball field, she is a big fan of Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose... Is a big Atlanta sports fan, especially of the Braves, Falcons and Hawks...Favorite TV show is True Blood...Favorite band is N.E.R.D. ...Credits her father with inspiring to play softball throughout her youth and eventually getting to the collegiate level...Plans to pursue a career in physical therapy upon graduation.
