Named to the A-Sun All-Freshman team after playing at the top spot for the Owls for most of the season ... Tallied a 7-16 record in singles action ... Had a 6-14 mark at the No. 1 spot, including victories over Division I opponents St. Joseph's, Niagara, East Carolina, and Jacksonville State ... Notched a 10-13 mark in doubles play, including an 8-5 record at No. 3 doubles with partners Matt Johnson (4-3) and Alex Pena (3-1). 

Before Kennesaw State
According to the Tennis Recruiting Network Alex was ranked 253rd in the nation, and seventh in the state of Indiana … he also drew interest from DePaul and Xavier … was ranked as high as 127th in the nation as a sophomore in 2009 …. went an impressive 90-15 in his high school career, and was named as an All State player for four straight years.

Born on July 5, 1992 ... son of Russell and Norma Toliver ... has an older sister named Amanada ... sports medicine major in the WellStar College of Health and Human Services.
