2011 Season
Played in 30 games during her first season with the Owls, appearing in the starting lineup on 28 occasions…Best offensive performance came in the Owls, 12-1, victory over Niagara in the Buzz Classic on Mar. 4, when she went 3-for-4 with six RBI, the most runs driven in a game by an Owl in 2011. The performance helped her earn a spot on the all-tournament team…Hit a one-out sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to drive in the winning run against Central Arkansas on Feb. 13…Hit her lone home run of the season later in the day against Southern Mississippi in the Owls, 8-6, victory…Had a pair of RBI in the Owls, 6-3, win over Drake on Feb. 20…Was named an A-Sun All-Academic honoree.
Prior to Kennesaw State
Spent two years playing at Paradise Valley Community College in Phoenix, Ariz. ... Batted .440 and .414 to lead her team in 2009 and 2010, respectively... Was a recipient of the All-American Student Athlete Award.
Prep Career
Earned four varsity letters at Horizon High School in Phoenix...Participated in Under-18 Gold Nationals during her freshman year of high school...Helped her team to a Division title on her way to being named First Team All-Region.
