As a Junior (2012)
Named to the 2012 Atlantic Sun All-Tournament Team … Made 30 appearances in the circle, starting 22 games and posting the second-highest total of wins for the Owls in 2012 with an 11-8 record … Owned an ERA of 2.88 in 115.2 innings … Registered eight complete games, including four in A-Sun action, a team-leading four shutouts and three saves, with all three saves coming in league play … Tallied 137 strikeouts, including 58 during the A-Sun slate … Lowered her ERA to 1.99 in 40.2 innings of conference play, recording a 4-2 mark in 11 appearances with four complete games and two shutouts … Registered eight or more strikeouts on eight occasions … Tallied a season-high 11 strikeouts, while only allowing four hits and one run in seven innings versus Lipscomb on April 20 … Also posted 10 strikeouts, while holding ETSU scoreless on March 30.
As a Sophomore (2011)
Followed up a terrific freshman campaign in 2010 with another solid season in 2011 … Went 7-6 on the season, her seven wins being the second most on the staff … Struck out 118 batters, the most on the Owls staff and the ninth most in the Atlantic Sun Conference … Her two best pitching performances of the season arguably came on back-to-back days, striking out 13 Stetson batters on Apr. 2 to help the Owls to a, 4-3 win at Bailey Park, the 13 strikeouts being the most by an Owl in 2011 ... Came back the next day and fanned 12 Florida Gulf Coast batters over nine and two thirds innings, but would go on to allow two unearned runs in the 10th inning in a tough, 2-0 loss … Was an anchor in the pitcher’s circle in the Owls first A-Sun doubleheader of the season, earning the win in both victories at North Florida on Mar. 25 ... Meixel would toss five and two thirds innings of scoreless relief, allowing four hits and striking out nine to will the Black and Gold to a, 5-3, win in the opener ... She would start the second game, going five innings and giving up just one run on six hits while striking out five in a back-and-forth, 7-5 win for the Owls … Tossed a complete game shutout at Belmont on Apr. 22, allowing just three hits and fanning seven in the Owls, 6-0 win … Went 2-0 with a 1.62 ERA in three appearances at the Phyllis Rafter Memorial, hosted by the Owls (Feb. 25-27), earning a spot on the all-tournament team.
As a Freshman (2010)
Started in pitcher’s circle for the Owls in 21 contests during her freshman year … Named to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Freshman Team … Ranked second on the team in Earned Run Average at 2.98 … Second on the team in wins with 10 … Finished the season tied for ninth in the A-Sun with 112 strikeouts and eight in walks allowed, handing out just 24 free passes … Pitched seven innings, recording eight strikeouts in her first win for the Owls, 5-1, win over South Dakota State in her collegiate debut on 2/14 ...Tossed her first-ever shutout on 4/9 in the second game of a doubleheader against Belmont, striking out 10 batters and allowing just five hits in the Owls' 2-0 victory.
