2011 Season
Appeared in 17 games before missing the last several weeks of the season due to injury…Recorded hits in three consecutive appearances from Feb. 18 to Feb 27…Lone RBI of the season came in the Owls, 7-5 loss to Drake on Feb. 18, a run-scoring double in the sixth inning…Made one appearance in the pitcher’s circle, tossing an inning at Jacksonville on Mar. 26…Scored two runs for the Owls in 2011, both in wins… Was named an A-Sun All-Academic honoree.
2010 Season
Made 15 appearances for the Black and Gold, starting six contests…Tossed a complete game against Western Carolina at the Phyllis Rafter Memorial on 3/7, allowing just one run on two hits while striking out a season-high seven batters…Gave up just one run on three in six innings work against Campbell on 3/25, her longest outing of the season against an A-Sun opponent…Allowed just one run in three innings of relief work on the road against Georgia on 3/31…Pitched two and a third innings in relief at East Tennessee State on 4/17, giving up just one run on four to help the Owls to a 5-4 victory.
2009 Season
Played and started in 20 games as a freshman... ended the season with a .200 batting average... had six hits in 30 at-bats... tallied a double and three RBI... went 3-6 on the mound with a 3.84 ERA... started 11 games with one save in 58.1 innings... had 32 strikeouts and held opponents to a .263 batting average... had a season high six strikeouts against Jacksonville State (3/4).
Prep Career
Prepped at Grayson HS under head coach Troy Pirkle... Was named All-County in 2006 and 2007... Received All-State First Team honors in '07... Was an All-State Honorable Mention selection in 2005... Played three years with 18-Gold travel team and helped them make it to Nationals... Was a four-year scholar athlete.
