As A Junior (2011)
Appeared in 16 singles matches for the Black and Gold finishing with a record of 5-11 ... spent most of his time at the No. 1 spot for the Owls posting a record of 4-5 ... started the season off strong winning four of his first five singles matches at the No. 1 position ... excelled in doubles play with partner Elliot Kahler as they led the team in doubles wins finishing with a 12-6 record.

As A Sophomore (2010)
Finished the spring season with a 6-13 singles record, mostly at the No. 1 position … doubles record of 9-11 with partner Michael Langel, including a 3-2 mark at the No. 1 spot … three-set win over Lipscomb at top spot in singles … downed Jacksonville, Lipscomb and Mercer in A-Sun doubles play … sat out significant part of fall season with shoulder injury … ITA Academic All-American for second consecutive season.

As A Freshman (2009)
In his first season as an Owl, Janik gave the Owls a solid effort, posting a 5-8 singles record, while going 4-9 in doubles competition … two of Janik’s victories came against A-Sun competition at Lipscomb and Florida Gulf Coast … his first career singles victory was one of his best in his rookie season as he beat UNC Asheville’s Jonas Brobeck at the No. 3 spot 6-4, 6-3 ...  he was also named a Scholar Athlete in 2009.

Before Kennesaw State
Recorded a ranking as high as No. 9 on the Canadian Junior Circuit in all of Canada and No. 1 in Ontario in the U-18 division ... tallied a win over the No. 6 player in Canada as a senior in a junior event ... attained a ITF ranking as high as No. 511 in his junior career.

Born on March 10, 1990 ... son of Teresa and Jozef Janik ... has two brothers named Matt and Daniel ... exercise and health science major in the WellStar College of Health and Human Services.
