Opening Tee
The Kennesaw State men's golf team is set to begin the 2026-27 season at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate.
Play begins at 8 a.m. EST at the Grande Dunes Golf Resort Club on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday morning. KSU is paired with Jacksonville and Winthrop.
Kennesaw State will open its 31st season on Sunday. This will be the 22nd season of golf at the D1 level for KSU.

Kennesaw State men's golf enters the 2026-27 season with a blend of experienced returners and promising newcomers as the Owls look to build on another competitive campaign under 11th-year head coach
Bryant Odom.
The Owls return five players from last season's squad, including Conference USA third-team All-Conference selection
Hunter Gillard and 2025 CUSA Freshman of the Year
Luca Gallingani. Gillard posted a 71.92 scoring average across nine events last season and recorded 14 rounds at par or better. Gallingani returns for his junior season after establishing himself as one of the team's key contributors.
2025-26 Review
Kennesaw State men's golf continued its rise on the national stage during the 2025-26 season, producing a tournament victory, nine top-10 finishes and three Conference USA All-Conference selections while sending
Shaun Cookl to the NCAA Athens Regional.
The Owls finished fifth at the Conference USA Championship after narrowly missing a spot in the four-team match-play portion of the tournament. KSU closed the championship with its lowest round of the season, shooting a 9-under 279 to finish at 15-under 849. The 15-under total ranks 10th in program history on a par-72 course.
