KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men's and women's cross country teams will return to action for the first time in two weeks Saturday morning, competing in the John McNichols Invitational. KSU's second September meet will take place at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Ind.
 
Headlined by approximately two dozen nationally ranked NCAA DI teams, the meet will get started with the women's 6K at 8:30 a.m. The men's 8K will follow at 9:05. Three Owl women will run in the open 6K at 9:40 a.m.

Saturday morning is expected to be a steamy day for distance running with a high of 87 and partly sunny skies.
 
First Time in Terre Haute
KSU will be making its first trip to the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Ind. The  LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course was recently renovated and will host the NCAA XC National Championships on Nov. 21.
