KENNESAW, Ga. — Kennesaw State men's tennis associate head coach
Simon Pritchard announced the signings of Konstantinos Megalemos and Frederik Tandeter on Thursday.
The two freshmen will join KSU men's tennis for the 2026-27 season, further bolstering an Owls squad already returning five major contributors from 2025-26.
Megalemos, a native of Nicosia, Cyprus, holds a UTR of 12.09 and a high-ITF junior ranking of 461.
"Konstantinos's results speak for themself," Pritchard said. "He has a lot of potential and a great work ethic to keep improving. We're pleased to add a player of this quality and character to our program."
Cyprus's top-ranked U18 player, Megalemos is also a member of his nation's Davis Cup Team. Megalemos holds a record of 26-10 in singles play and a doubles mark of 14-10 in 2025-26 matches.
Tandeter comes to KSU from Wettingen, Switzerland, where he won a U18 state championship, earned a Swiss Junior Championships quarterfinalist finish and achieved a top 10 national U18 ranking.
"Frederik is a really talented player with a lot of upside," Pritchard said. "As soon as he arrived on campus for his visit he started to gel with the team. I'm excited to see those relationships continue to grow."
With UTRs of 12.12 and 12.11 in singles and doubles, Tandeter also holds an ITF adult ranking of 2451.
Megalemos and Tandeter round out an Owl 2026 recruiting class that already features five-star prospect Juan Parrilla.
The product of Decatur High School in Decatur, Georgia, Parrilla signed with KSU in November 2025 while ranked No. 57 prospect nationally and fifth in the state. A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Parrilla's tennis career already includes a USTA Winter National Golden Ball in doubles and a 43-19 record versus ranked opponents.
