DALLAS – Kennesaw State's Kali Terza was named the Conference USA Women's Field Athlete of the Year, the league announced Friday.

The award was voted on by the conference's head coaches.

Terza capped a historic 2026 season by earning NCAA First Team All-America honors in both the weight throw and hammer throw. During the indoor season, she won a bronze medal in the weight throw at the USATF Indoor Championships and tied for the sixth-farthest throw in the NCAA. She finished no lower than eighth in any of the seven indoor meets she competed in and helped lead Kennesaw State to its first Conference USA women's indoor championship. Terza also captured the CUSA title in the weight throw and recorded the conference's top mark in the event.

During the outdoor season, Terza continued her success in the hammer throw, winning the Conference USA title and posting the league's top mark. She set Kennesaw State school records in both the weight throw and hammer throw and earned four event victories in the hammer throw. Terza also delivered standout performances against some of the nation's top competitors at the Oklahoma Throws Festival and Drake Relays.

Her outdoor campaign concluded with First Team All-America honors in the hammer throw after a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Terza's top throw of 69.12 meters (226 feet, 9 inches) ranked second in the NCAA East Region and sixth nationally this season.

Terza is scheduled to compete at the USATF Outdoor Championships in July and the FISU World University Games.
