Jang Named CSC Academic All-District

KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's golf sophomore Jackie Jang was honored for her work on the course and in the classroom, getting named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, it was announced Monday.
 
A native of Auckland, New Zealand, Jang met all of the criteria to make it on to the ballot, earning a perfect 4.00 grade-point average in the classroom while competing for the Owls.
 
On the course, Jang tied for third-best scoring average for the Owls with a 76.80. Jang's best finish of the season was at the University of Dayton Invitational, where she finished fifth out of 74 golfers. She shot back-to-back 75's after a first-round 73 to finish 10-over par for the tournament.
 
Jang also earned CUSA All-Academic honors this season as well.
