Gage Voyles and Kenyatta Bennett at NCAA Outdoor Championships

Bennett and Voyles Collect Second Team All-America Honors at NCAA Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Kenyatta Bennett and Gage Voyles earned Second Team All-America honors in the high jump Friday at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Bennett cleared 2.11m (6-11) and 2.16m (7-1) on his third attempts. His clearance of 2.16 meters earned him a 15th-place finish, the highest by an Owl in program history in the event.

Voyles cleared the opening height of 2.11m (6-11) and finished in a tie for 16th place.

Voyles and Bennett put together two of the best high jump seasons in program history. The duo finished first and second in the high jump at both Conference USA championship meets. Voyles set the school record three times, while Bennett recorded multiple personal-best marks during the season.

The NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships conclude the 2025-26 NCAA season. Four Owls will compete at the United States U20 Championships on June 18-19 at Hayward Field. The U.S. Outdoor Championships are scheduled for July 23-26.
