LEXINGTON, Ky. – Seven members of the Kennesaw State men's track and field team competed on the opening day of the NCAA East First Rounds on Wednesday at the UK Outdoor Track and Field Facility on the campus of the University of Kentucky.
Notable Performances
Jase Hunter landed a toss of 60.77m (199'4") to finish 40th in the hammer throw.
Aidan Boyd finished his season placing 25
th in the javelin with a toss of 63.71m (209'0").
Cameron Guadiano (14.19 seconds) and
Mohamed Diaby (14.29 seconds) closed their seasons, placing 38th and 40th in the 110m hurdles.
Chance Cross ran a time of 10.29 seconds to finish 27th in the 100m.
Josh Jones ran a time of 52.50 seconds to finish his junior season with a 42nd-place finish in the 400m hurdles.
Simon Seid concluded his stellar KSU career finishing tied for 16th in the pole vault with a clearance of 5.20m (17'0.75").
