2026 Kennesaw State MG CUSA All-Conference Winners

Kennesaw State Trio Earns Conference USA Postseason Honors

DALLAS — Kennesaw State Owls men's golf had three players earn Conference USA postseason honors for their performances during the 2025-26 season.

Shaun Cook collected first-team all-conference honors after posting a team-best 70.67 scoring average this season. His scoring average currently ranks second in program history. He led the team with 19 rounds at par or better and was KSU's top finisher in five events. His 19 rounds at par or better are tied for eighth in program history for a single season.


Cook, a Norcross, Georgia, native, recorded the following highlights this season:

  • Won the Scrappy at Cobblestone with rounds of 69-73-69 for a 2-under-par total.
  • Finished third at the J.T. Poston Invitational with a 6-under-par total of 204.
  • Tied for eighth at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate at 4-under-par 206.
  • Tied for 11th at the CUSA Men's Golf Championship at 4-under par.

Kyle Bachkosky earned second-team all-conference honors. The senior ranked second on the team with a 71.53 scoring average in 10 events. Seventeen of his 30 rounds were at par or better, and he was KSU's top finisher in two events.


Bachkosky, a Peachtree City, Georgia, native, recorded the following highlights this season:

  • Tied for fourth at the Scrappy at Cobblestone with rounds of 74-69-73 for a 3-over-par total.
  • Tied for 21st at the Johnnie-O at Sea Island at 7-under par.
  • Tied for 23rd at the Linger Longer Invitational at 2-under par.
  • Tied for eighth at the CUSA Men's Golf Championship at 6-under par.


Hunter Gillard earned third-team all-conference honors. The redshirt sophomore ranked third on the team with a 71.92 scoring average in nine events. He also recorded 14 rounds at par or better in 26 rounds played.


Gillard, a Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, native, recorded the following highlights this season:

  • Tied for seventh at the J.T. Poston Invitational with rounds of 67-72-67 for a 4-under-par total.
  • Tied for 11th at the Steelwood Collegiate.
  • Tied for seventh at the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate at 6-under par.


Cook is set to compete in the Athens Regional at the UGA Golf Course from Monday, May 18, through Wednesday, May 20.
