DALLAS — Kennesaw State's
Nathan Walters capped his season by earning All-Conference USA Men's Tennis First Team Honors, the league announced on Tuesday.
Walters becomes the 21
st KSU men's tennis postseason conference honoree in the program's Division I-era (2005-pres.) and earns the Owls' 29
th postseason league award.
A true freshman from Cirona, Spain, Walters led KSU with a 16-3 singles record, including 2-0 on court three, 4-0 on four and 10-3 on five.
Walters won seven of his last eight matches and took 10 of 16 overall in straight sets. CUSA recognized Walters as Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week on March 25.
With Walters' help, the Owls posted a 15-7 team record, tied for the second-most wins in program history.
