Ledford and Bachkosky Guide Owls Through 36 Holes at Conference USA Championship

TEXARKANA, Ark. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team is in sixth place after 36 holes at the Conference USA Golf Championship at Texarkana Country Club.

KSU carded a 2-under-par round of 286 on Tuesday and stands at 5-under-par 571 through 36 holes. The Owls are just two shots out of third place with 18 holes of stroke play remaining. After Wednesday's third round, the top four teams will advance to match play on Thursday.

Josh Ledford fired a 1-under-par 71 and is tied for seventh at 4-under-par 140. He recorded an eagle, four birdies and eight pars on Tuesday.

Kyle Bachkosky posted KSU's low round of the day with a 3-under-par 69. The senior is tied for 10th at 3-under-par 141 and moved up 10 spots in the individual standings.

Shaun Cook shot a 1-over-par 73 and is tied for 25th at even-par 144.

Hunter Gillard recorded his second consecutive 1-over-par 73 and is tied for 33rd at 2-over-par 146.

Walker Gannt shot a 75 and is in 45th place at 5-over-par 149.

KSU will tee off in the third round of the Conference USA Championship on Wednesday, April 28.
