FRISCO, Texas – Kennesaw State women's golf finished day one of the Conference USA Championship on Monday afternoon at Stonebriar Country Club.
The Owls posted a 15-over par (303) on the first 18 holes to sit in ninth place overall.
Scorecard
Leading the Owls on the first day was
Nyah Kelly and
Ariana Silva. Both carded rounds of 2-over par 74 and are tied for 16
th. Kelly finished the day with nine consecutive pars. Silva made two birdies and five pars on her final seven holes Monday.
Alessandra Nagayo posted a 5-over par 77 and is tied for 30
th.
Jackie Jang recorded a 6-over par 78 and is tied for 36
th. Jang birdied the 18
th hole to finish her round.
Rounding out the Owls performances was
Sabrina Kim, who turned in a 9-over par 81 and is tied for 37
th.
Next Tee Time
Kennesaw State will compete in Round 2 on Tuesday morning. Tee times begin at 9:30 a.m. KSU will be paired with Missouri State and UTEP.
