KENNESAW, Ga. - Kennesaw State baseball rallied late, but Louisiana Tech pushed across the go-ahead run in the ninth inning to secure a 4-3 win and the series on Sunday afternoon at Mickey Dunn Stadium at Henssler Financial Field.
Harry Cain delivered a strong outing in his second start of the season, turning in a Quality Start with 6.0 innings of three-run ball on six hits while striking out three and walking two. Jayden Summerville added 1.1 scoreless innings out of the bullpen before Ty Bayer (L, 5-5) allowed the game-winning run on a sacrifice fly in the ninth.
The Owls (17-19, 7-11 CUSA) were limited to three hits, all for extra bases. Chris Cole went 1-for-4 with a game-tying two-run home run in the eighth inning, while Trenton Lyons doubled and Wesley Alig tripled.

- T3 | Louisiana Tech scored three runs on four hits, highlighted by a two-run homer (3-0, Louisiana Tech).
- B7 | Alig led off the inning with a triple and scored on a sacrifice fly by Charlie Jones (3-1).
- B8 | Lyons ripped a double before Cole launched a 446-foot, two-run homer to right field to even the score (3-3).
- T9 | With the bases loaded and one out, the Bulldogs lifted a sacrifice fly to reclaim the lead (4-3, Louisiana Tech).
