4/16/2026 1:00:00 PM

DALLAS – Kennesaw State women's golf sophomore Jackie Jang was honored for her work on the course and in the classroom, getting named to Conference USA's All-Academic First Team, the league announced on Thursday.

Jang was voted to the first team by the conference's head academic advisors and is one of just 10 CUSA student-athletes to be recognized in women's golf.

A native of Auckland, New Zealand, Jang met all of the criteria to make it on to the ballot, earning a perfect 4.00 grade-point average in the classroom while competing for the Owls.

Jang's best finish of the season was at the University of Dayton Invitational, where she finished fifth out of 74 golfers. She shot back-to-back 75's after a first-round 73 to finish 10-over par for the tournament.

Next Tee Times:

Jang and Kennesaw State women's golf will turn the page to the postseason, heading to Frisco, Texas for the Conference USA Championship on April 20-22 at the Stonebriar Country Club.
