CHAPEL HILL, N.C. –Shaun Cook guided the KSU men's golf team through 36 holes at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate at the UNC Finley Course Saturday.
KSU carded rounds of 288-285 for a 13-over par total of 573 on the par-70 course. The Owls are in 12
th place.
Cook posted rounds of 71-68 and is tied for 22
nd at 1-under par 139. He rolled in 23 pars and seven birdies on Saturday. His seven birdies ranked tied for 21
st in the field.
Kyle Bachkosky (72-71) and
Hunter Gillard (73-72) are tied for 57
th and 67
th respectively. They are tied for second in the field with 28 pars through 36 holes.
Walker Gantt is tied for 67th at 7-over par 147 after rounds of 72-75.
Josh Ledford (76-74) is tied for 76th at 10-over par 150.
The Owls will close out the regular season with the final round of the Tar Heel Intercollegiate on Sunday, Apr. 12.
