WALLACE, N.C. – Three Kennesaw State women's golfers tied for sixth individually to lead KSU to second place after 36 holes at the 2026 River Landing Classic at the River Landing Country Club on Monday.
The Owls posted a 19-over par mark on Monday for a 301-294 score over the first two rounds. The only team to play better on the day was host-team UNCW (4-over).
Scoreboard
Nyah Kelly shot 5-over after 36 holes to tie for sixth individually, carding a 5-over 77 in Round 1 before a red-hot even par finish in Round 2. She finished with four birdies and 20 pars on the first day.
Also in sixth place was
Alessandra Nagayo, who shot 5-over par on Day 1 thanks to a 4-over 76 in Round 1 and a 1-over par 73 in Round 2. After 14 pars in the first round, she turned in 15 in Round 2.
Rounding out the top-6 finishers was
Ariana Silva, who shot 2-over par in Round 1, before a 3-over par 75 in Round 2. Silva carded four birdies overall on the day with 25 pars.
Just off the team lead was
Sabrina Kim, who finished 8-over par for the day to sit in 14
th place for the tournament. She turned in a 6-over par 78 in Round 1 and a 2-over par 74 in Round 2, which featured all four of her birdies on the day.
Jackie Jang shot 16-over for the first 36 holes, placing 26
th individually. She started the day with a 2-over par 74 in Round 1 before carding a 14-over par 86 in Round 2.
Competing as an individual,
Natasha Korman finished the first day 19-over par (34
th). She carded a 9-over par 81 in Round 1 – scoring an eagle on hole 5 – before a 10-over par 82 in Round 2.
Tee Times:
The team will finish on Tuesday with the final 18 holes. Play will begin with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun.
