ATHENS, Ga. – Five Owls shot 5-over par or better on Sunday to keep Kennesaw State women's golf in ninth place after Round 2 at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic at the University of Georgia Golf Course.
The Owls posted a 7-over par second round mark and are now 24-over par (305-295) for the tournament.
Scoreboard
Nyah Kelly and
Alessandra Nagayo finished Round 2 in the lead for Kennesaw State, both tied for 17
th place at 4-over par. Nagayo shot 1-over par, sinking four birdies on the back nine, while Kelly carded a 2-over par 74 with three birdies on the day.
Just four strokes back from them is
Jackie Jang and
Ariana Silva, both tied for 32
nd place after 36 holes at 8-over. Jang tied Nagayo with four birdies to finish a 1-over par 73 on Sunday, while Silva turned in a 3-over par 75.
Sabrina Kim (71
st) shot 5-over on the day to move up four spots and sit at 16-over after two rounds, while
Natasha Korman (86
th) carded a 13-over par 85 as an individual.

The final round will tee off on Monday, March 30 with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
