ATHENS, Ga. – Nyah Kelly finished the first day in the top-15 to lead Kennesaw State women's golf to ninth place after 18 holes at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic at the University of Georgia Golf Course on Saturday.
The Owls posted a 17-over mark of 305 to tie with Florida Gulf Coast.
Scoreboard
Kelly turned in 14 pars and one birdie to card a 2-over par 74 on Saturday. Her 2-over places her 14
th individually.
Right on her heels was
Alessandra Nagayo, who turned in four birdies to record a 3-over par 75 and tie for 22
nd place individually.
Rounding out the top four performers was
Ariana Silva, who shot 5-over to sit 37
th, and
Jackie Jang, who turned in a 7-over par 79 to place 58
th.
Sabrina Kim (75
th) shot 11-over on the day, while
Natasha Korman (78
th) carded a 13-over par 85 as an individual.
