KENNESAW, Ga. — After six consecutive road matches, Kennesaw State men's tennis returns to Betty Siegel Courts for a three-match homestand with UAB, Lipscomb and Presbyterian visiting March 20 and 22-23.

KSU won five of six matches on the road, beginning with a 4-2 defeat of Georgia Southern on Feb. 21. A pair of wins at UNC Asheville (4-0) and VCU (4-1) were then followed by taking two of three matches in the Battle at the Beach multi-team event in Wilmington, North Carolina March 10-13.

The Owls opened the Battle at the Beach with a 4-1 win over Lehigh, then won their second match in a 4-3 defeat of William & Mary. Host UNCW got the better of KSU in a 0-4 decision on March 13.

Singles play continues to be the Owls' strength, with the team a combined 39-25 (.609) this season. KSU's freshmen trio of Nathan Walters, Dominic Ducariu and Leon Peranovic have combined for 24 of the team's 39 singles wins. Walters leads the Owls with a 9-2 record and a team-best three-match winning streak.

Xavi Ferrer and Anthony Weingarten have found recent momentum in line-three doubles with three straight wins of their own. As a team, KSU looks to improve from a 15-17 doubles record.

SERIES HISTORY
KSU and UAB have met just once previously, in a 6-1 Blazer win on February 17, 2013, in Birmingham. Sunday marks the 16th all-time meeting between KSU and Lipscomb. The Owls have won four straight in the series between the former ASUN foes. KSU and Presbyterian meet for the 13th time on Monday. While the Blue Hose hold a 7-5 series lead, the Owls won 6-1 in Clinton, South Carolina, last season.
