HUMACAO, Puerto Rico — Shaun Cook remained in a share of the individual lead after the second round of the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate at Palmas Del Mar CC Flamboyan on Monday.
Cook made five birdies and 13 pars to post a 5-under-par 67. He leads the field in par-4 scoring at 3.70, and his 12 birdies are tied for the tournament lead through 36 holes.
Kennesaw State carded a 5-under-par round of 283 and sits in seventh place. KSU is one shot out of sixth and two shots out of a tie for fourth heading into the final round on Tuesday.
Hunter Gillard recorded three birdies and 12 pars to shoot an even-par 72. He is tied for 19th at 1-under-par 143.
Playing as an individual, Reed Sweigart shot a 1-under-par 71 and is tied for 26th at even-par 144.
Kyle Bachkosky (73) and Walker Gantt (71) are tied for 57th at 6-over-par 150. Ryan Nicholson is tied for 64th at 7-over-par 151 after posting a 3-over-par 75 on Monday.
The Owls will play the final round of the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10.
