ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. — The Kennesaw State men's golf team concluded play at the Sea Best Invitational at Atlantic Beach Country Club Tuesday.
"We saw a lot of good stuff for the first event of the spring," head coach Bryant Odom said. "Shaun played great yesterday, and everyone else produced some strong stretches of golf over the two days in very tough conditions. There are some areas we need to tighten up before we head to Puerto Rico later in the week, but overall we are excited about where we're headed."
KSU posted a second consecutive round of 7-over-par 291 and finished ninth at 14-over par with a total of 582.
Shaun Cook carded a 2-over-par 73 and finished 16th at even-par 142.
Hunter Gillard recorded a 4-over-par 75 and tied for 39th.
Kyle Bachksoky fired the Owls' low round of the day with an even-par 71. He and Gillard tied for 39th.
Ryan Nicholson posted his season-best round of 1-over 72 and finished 46th.
Reed Sweigart finished 68th after a second consecutive round of 5-over-par 76.
