LAST TIME OUT
The Owls won their first two matches of the season with a successful road trip in Alabama a week ago. KSU defeated Troy 4-2 on Feb. 18 before beating UAB 4-3 on Feb. 20.

Izabelle Persson clinched the match for the Owls with a win over Troy's Sama Hindawy on court four. Persson took set one 6-2 and bounced back from a 4-6 second set to win the match with a 6-4 third set.

Despite losing the doubles point to the Blazers, KSU came back to win four of six in singles with match victories from Rianna Coreisa, Maria Ivankovic, Ema Baraniakova and Sofia Madrid.

Coreisa won her first collegiate singles match with a straight-set (6-2, 6-2) victory on court six. Ivankovic took sets one and three 6-3 for a court-three win. Madrid won her first set 6-2, then bounced back from a set-two tiebreaker defeat to win 6-2 in the third and clinch the match for the Owls.
