NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Victoria Joyce set the school record in the women's triple jump with a leap of 12.68m (41'7.25") to win the event at the Music City Challenge on Saturday.
The Owls wrapped up the regular-season portion of the indoor campaign in Nashville.
Men's Recap
Josh Jones ran a career-best time of 7.98 seconds to finish third in the 60m hurdles final.
Freshman Marion Clark clocked a time of 47.89 seconds to secure second in the 400m.
Brain Limo (8:06.89) and Collins Kipkemboi (8:11.45) competed in the men's 3k.
Cameron Dean and Chinedum Ike each recorded leaps of 15.29m (50-2) to place sixth and seventh in the triple jump invite.
Women's Recap
Madison Seiler continued her strong season, running a time of 9:30.86 to place seventh in the 3K. That time ranks No. 2 in program history.
Akshana took home a runner-up finish in the unseeded 3k with a time of 9:46.20.
The freshman hurdle duo of Natalie Harris and Tickia Sutton each ran personal-best times of 8.40 seconds to qualify for the 60m hurdles final. Harris (8.51 seconds) and Sutton (8.70 seconds) placed seventh and eighth, respectively, in the final.
Freshman Ebony Whyte recorded a personal-best time of 7.53 to finish fourth in the 60m final.
Aminah Jabbie concluded the regular season with a personal-best time of 57.37 seconds to finish third in the 400m.

The CUSA Indoor Track & Field Championships will return to the Brant Tolsma Indoor Track at the Liberty Indoor Track Complex on Feb. 27-28. The Kennesaw State women will look to win their first CUSA title, while the men will look to repeat as champions.
