PALM CITY, Fla. – Freshman
Ariana Silva and sophomore
Jackie Jang led the way in Round 1 as Kennesaw State women's golf placed 16
th after the first day at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate in Florida on Sunday.
The Owls posted a 36-over par team score of 324 after 18 holes at the Hammock Creek Golf Course.

Ariana Silva turned in a fine opening round for the Owls, carding a 5-over par 77 to sit in 21
st place individually.
Competing as an individual,
Jackie Jang recorded a 4-over par 76 to place 13
th overall after the first day.
Right behind them was
Sabrina Kim, who shot 8-over par in Round 1 to finish in the top 50 (48
th).
Rounding out KSU's top five was
Natasha Korman (11-over),
Alessandra Nagayo and
Nyah Kelly (12-over), who placed in 74
th and tied for 83
rd place, respectively.
Tee Times:
Kennesaw State will return for Round 2 on Monday, Feb. 2. The second round will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
