In front of the KSU sprints and hurdles groups, McDaniel welcomed Atlas as an official member of the Owls.

We are thrilled to welcome Atlas and his family into our program this year,” We have gotten to know Atlas over the last few weeks and have really enjoyed his energy and his love for our program. Atlas is always super excited to spend time at the track and watch his teammates train and practice. I believe his presence in our program will only help us grow and have a better understanding of one another in the years to come.

Atlas supported the Kennesaw State cross country teams at the Stan Sims XC Opener last month. He also has spent time watching his teammates practice and lift weights, as well as spending time away from the track with teammates Kaelan Garrity, Aminah Jabbie and Salima Jabbie.

Getting to know Atlas has been such a blessing. He has such a fun personality and is always a great time to be around. I’ve really enjoyed every moment I’ve gotten to spend with him so far. His mom, Camille, is also one of the sweetest people I’ve met, and it’s been amazing getting to know both of them. I’m really excited to continue building our friendship and making more memories with Atlas.

Atlas Signing Day
I am so heartened by the warm welcome that Atlas has received from the entire team, both coaches and players alike. This is reflected in Coach Cale's openness and willingness to engage with and become part of Team IMPACT and the excitement that all of the track and field coaches have shown in bringing Atlas onto the team. It is also reflected in how the athletes have embraced Atlas as a fellow teammate and the way that they greet and interact with him whenever he is around.
