First Pitch Dinner Details
Doors will open at NorthStar Church's Compass Auditorium at 5:30 p.m., with social time and a meet-and-greet with the evening's special guest, MLB Hall of Famer Chipper Jones, beginning at 6:00 p.m. and running through 6:45 p.m.
Jones was the premier position player for the Atlanta Braves throughout the 1990s and 2000s, helping lead the franchise to 11 consecutive postseason appearances and a 1995 World Series championship. That season, Jones served as the Braves' starting third baseman and hit out of the No. 3 spot in the lineup.
Four years later, Jones earned the National League Most Valuable Player Award, hitting a career-high 45 home runs. Over a 19-year Major League career, Jones totaled 2,726 hits, 468 home runs, and more walks (1,512) than strikeouts (1,409). He was named to eight All-Star Games and finished in the top 10 of NL MVP voting five times.
Jones' 468 home runs are the most ever by a National League switch hitter, while his 1,623 RBI are the most of any player whose primary position was third base. He was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2018.
Seats are available for $200 per person and private tables (eight-person max) are available for $1,400. All prices reflected are not inclusive of taxes and fees.
The dress code that presides is business casual.
