Gantt and Bachkosky Guide Owls Through Two Rounds at at Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Kennesaw State men's golf team sits in seventh place after 36 holes at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate.

The first round was suspended Sunday due to rain and concluded Monday before the second round was played.

Kennesaw State posted rounds of 288-288 for an even-par total of 576.

Freshman Walker Gantt is tied for 11th at 4-under par 140 after rounds of 69 and 71. He recorded 24 pars and eight birdies over the first 36 holes.

Kyle Bachkosky is tied for 20th at 2-under par 142, shooting 70 and 72 with eight birdies and 22 pars.

Luca Gallingani (75-72) and Shaun Cook (74-73) are tied for 46th at 3-over par 147.

Josh Ledford (79-74) is tied for 77th at 9-over-par 153.

Playing as an individual, Reed Sweigart is tied for 38th at 2-over-par 146 following rounds of 76 and 70.

The Owls will conclude play at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate on Tuesday, Sept. 9.
