ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Against a tough field in Michigan, Kennesaw State women's golf sits 13
th overall after 36 holes at the Wolverine Invitational on Sunday.
The Owls posted a 44-over par score of 299-313 at the U-M Golf Course.
Scoreboard
Nyah Kelly led the pack with a consistent day that led to a 6-over par 71-77. She recorded two birdies in the final three holes of the day and eight birdies overall to place 21
st individually.
Right behind her is
Sabrina Kim, who placed a 11-over par Day 1 after a 74-79 outing through 36 holes to sit 45
th individually.
Alessandra Nagayo finished on her teammates' heels at 13-over par 77-78 to place 62
nd, while true freshman
Ariana Silva carded a 14-over par 77-79 Day 1 with three birdies to sit 64
th.
Rounding out the Owls' performances was
Hannah Cheryl Alan, who turned in a 20-over par 80-82 to sit 80
th overall.
Tee Time
Kennesaw State will be back out on Monday, Sept. 8 for the final 18 holes in Round 3. The Owls first tee time is at 8:45 a.m. ET.
