GREENVILLE, S.C. – Kennesaw State women's golf sits tied for 11
th overall after the first 18 holes at the Lady Paladin Invitational on Friday afternoon.
The Owls posted a 12-over par score of 300 at the Furman University Golf Course.

Ariana Silva had a terrific first round, leading the Owls with an even-par 72 to place 16
th. She carded four birdies, including three on the back nine to finish.
Right behind her is
Nyah Kelly, who turned in a 2-over par 74 to place 36
th after the first day. She turned in three birdies overall.
The rest of the Owls all tied for 57
th place individually after the first 18 holes, as
Jackie Jang,
Sabrina Kim and
Alessandra Nagayo all shot 5-over par 77 on Friday.
Nagayo finished the day with four birdies, while Kim had three and Jang recorded two.
Tee Time
Kennesaw State will return for Round 2 on Saturday, Sept. 20. The second round will once again be a 10 a.m. shotgun start.
