Baseball Announces 32nd Annual Alumni Golf Tournament

9/16/2025 10:20:00 AM

KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State baseball announced the 32nd Annual The Shake Memorial Alumni Golf Tournament will take place Friday, Oct. 3 at Cobblestone Golf Course.

This year marks the fifth instance that the alumni golf tournament is named "The Shake Memorial Golf Tournament," sporting the same nickname as longtime KSU baseball supporter, Fred Stillwell. As one of the university's earliest donors, Stillwell became a close friend to the staff and players of the Owls' baseball program. In Feb. 2021, the Stillwell Stadium's namesake sadly passed away at the age of 95.

The tournament is open for registration and costs $115 dollars per person. This includes Adidas polo, green and cart fees, a bucket of range balls, lunch and beverages. Golfers will arrive at Cobblestone Golf Course in Acworth, Ga. at 8:00 a.m. with tee off beginning at 9:00 a.m. Mulligans will be available for purchase. Additional fees may apply when purchasing online
