KENNESAW, Ga. – Fifth-year head coach Octavia Blue unveiled the 2025-26 non-conference slate for Kennesaw State women's basketball Tuesday.
The schedule features 11 games including six at home in VyStar Arena as well as a homecoming for Blue on Dec. 21 at the Miami Hurricanes to face her alma mater – one of two Power Four matchups on the calendar.
"We're excited about the challenges our non-conference schedule presents this season," Blue said. "With returning key pieces to the squad, we've built a slate that will push us early and prepare us for conference play. We're facing some strong, well-coached programs that will test our depth and toughness, and that's exactly what we want. This group is hungry, and I'm looking forward to seeing how we respond."
The campaign tips off Tuesday, Nov. 4 at home against Shorter, followed by a home rematch against Florida Atlantic on Nov. 8.
A trek to Johnson City, Tenn. marks the Owls' first road test on Wednesday, Nov. 12 against ETSU.
KSU then returns home three days later on Nov. 15 against Tennessee Tech.
After nine days between games, Kennesaw State heads to Mobile, Ala. to face South Alabama before capping off November by USC Upstate on Friday, Nov. 28.
December opens with a road showdown against the Alabama Crimson Tide, followed by a home contest five days later to face Thomas University on Saturday, Dec. 6.
Kennesaw State travels down I-75 eight days later for a battle with rival Georgia State on Dec. 14.
Next up for KSU is the Dec. 21 trek to Miami. The Owls' non-conference schedule concludes Monday, Dec. 29 vs. Life.
The 11-game non-conference precedes an 18-game Conference USA slate that tips off on Jan. 2, which was previously announced in July.
Kennesaw State takes the court this season led by returners Keyarah Berry, Trynce Taylor, Lee Lee Willis, Kailyn Fields, Gabriela Bendeck-Giron and Mame Kane. The returning Owls are joined by eight newcomers for the campaign.
