KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's basketball head coach
Octavia Blue announced the return of guard
Keyarah Berry to the Owls' roster for the 2025-26 campaign Thursday.
"I am pumped to have Keyarah back with us for this upcoming season," Blue said. "She is my first ever signee and has been such a joy to coach from day one. KB has elevated her game every single year and to have someone of her caliber — an all-conference talent, culture kid — back on the floor is a game-changer for our program."
2025-26 will mark the fifth season for Berry and fourth in a KSU uniform after transferring from Indiana following the 2021-22 season.
"I want to give a special thanks to our compliance department for their relentless effort and dedication throughout this process," Blue added. "Their hard work was instrumental in securing the waiver from the NCAA, and we're incredibly grateful for their support in making this happen."
She became the first player in program history to win a Conference USA weekly honor on Nov. 18, 2024 and has played in 87 games with Kennesaw State including 37 starts. Last season she averaged 12.0 points per game and 5.7 rebounds. She shot 45.4% from the floor in KSU's first season in CUSA and started the season with three-straight 20-point games.
Berry shot 8-for-13 with 24 points in the 2025 Conference USA First Round, helping KSU to its first CUSA tournament win over UTEP. On Dec. 19, she sank a fastbreak layup to seal the Owls' comeback win over Georgia State.
