Kali Terza will compete for Team USA in the hammer throw at the FISU World University Summer Games on July 26th -27th.
Terza will be throwing in qualification group A. She will need to place in the top 12 overall to reach the final on Sunday.
Terza shined during the outdoor season. She earned second-team All-American honors with a 13th place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a mark of 64.98m (213'2). She landed her career-best toss of 66.75m (219'0") at NCAA East First Rounds. Her mark of 64.98m (213'2") ranked 12th in the NCAA East Region this season.
She won the silver medal at the CUSA Outdoor Championships. She competed in nine meets on the year in the hammer throw and finished third or better in eight of the nine.
