Owls Collect Four Event Wins at Big Orange Invite Saturday

Big Orange Invite Final Results 

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. –
Members of the Kennesaw State track and field teams concluded competition at the Big Orange Invite at Tom Black Track at La Porte Stadium Saturday.
 
Event Winners
  • Lloyd Hill won the triple jump with a leap of 15.07m (49.9'50").
  • Kenyatta Bennett cleared a personal-best height of 2.11m (6'11) to win the high jump.
  • Amelia Coker won the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:02.33.
  • Mohamed Diaby won the 110m hurdles in a time of 13.72 seconds.
Women's Top Performances Men's Top Performances
  • Justin Campbell (14.75m | 48'4.75") and Chinedum Ike (14.68m | 48'2) took second and third in the triple jump.
  • Cameron Guadiano (52.91 seconds) took home fourth in the 400m hurdles.
  • Guadiano (13.99 seconds) and Sean Dyer (14.16 seconds) finished fourth in the 110m hurdles.

A small group of Owls will compete at the Emory Qualifier on May 7. KSU hits the road to Murfreesboro, Tenn. for the Conference USA Outdoor Championships on May 16-18.
