CARLSBAD, Calif – Claes Borregaard carded a second straight round of 1-over par 73 and is tied for 43rd after the second round of the NCAA Men's Golf Championships Saturday at the North Course at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa.
Borregaard rolled in two birdies and seven pars during his round. He played his final eight holes at 1-under par with a birdie on No. 8 to go with seven pars.
Borregaard will tee off in round three of the NCAA Men's Golf Championship on Sunday, May 25 at 11:42 am ET.
Championship Format
All 30 teams and six individuals will complete 54 holes of stroke play. Following 54 holes of competition, the top 15 teams along with the top nine individuals not on an advancing team will advance for one additional day of stroke play to determine the top eight teams for match-play competition and the 72-hole stroke-play individual champion.
