ATLANTA, Ga. – Members of the Kennesaw State track and field teams competed at the Georgia Tech Invitational on Friday at the George C. Griffin Track.
 
School Records and Event Wins

• Kali Terza won the hammer throw with a toss of 64.98m (213'2").
• Chance Cross ran a time of 10.15 seconds to win the 100m.

 
Event Wins

• Kenadie Singleton posted a time of 11.61 seconds to win the 100m.

 
Men's Top Performances

• Jase Hunter landed a toss of 59.91m (196'6") to finish fourth in the hammer throw.
• Aidan Boyd landed a mark of 60.03m (196'11") to finish second in the javelin.
• Jeremiah Sims (14.02), Mohamed Diaby (14.03) and Cameron Guadiano (14.12) finished fifth, sixth and seventh in the 110m hurdles.
• Evan Martinez finished fifth in the shot put with a mark of 16.92m (55'6.25").

 
Women's Top Performances

• Akerah Jones ran a time of 13.54 seconds to take second in the 100m hurdles.
• Rachel Swain landed a leap of 6.02m (19'9") to take fourth in the long jump
• Samiya Wayne (11.73 seconds) took home fifth in the 100m.
• Natalie Cummings secured third in the 1500m in a time of 4:17.96.
• Madison Seiler finished second in the 3K Steeplechase with a time of 16:46.41.

 
The Owls will finish competition at the Georgia Tech Invitational on Saturday, April 19.
