ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Kennesaw State women's golf finished Day 1 of the Conference USA Championship on Monday afternoon at World Golf Village.
The Owls posted a 7-over par (295) on the first 18 holes to sit in sixth place overall.
Scorecard
Leading the Owls on the first day was
Alessandra Nagayo, who shot even par for the opening round. With three birdies overall, she sits ninth individually.
Right behind her with a 1-over par 73,
Jackie Jang rebounded from a tough-luck front nine to shoot a 34 on the back to work back to 14
th place individually.
Ladina Luder and
Nyah Kelly also battled to finish top 25, both carding 3-over par 75 scores to sit tied for 22
nd individually.
Rounding out the Owls performances was
Sabrina Kim, who turned in a 6-over par 78 and sits 33
rd.
Next Tee Time
Kennesaw State will compete in Round 2 on Tuesday morning. Tee times begin at 7:30 a.m. again on Tuesday with KSU's first tee time at 8:15 a.m.
